Rockford Fosgate announced that its high-performance mobile audio systems will come standard on the new Tanom Motors Invader TC-3 reverse trike audio package. An exciting fusion of super bike and super car, the high performance reverse trike was unveiled today at the 2011 SEMA Show in Las Vegas (booth #37053).
"Rockford Fosgate equipment has been available from leading car manufacturers for many years," said Bill Jackson president of Rockford Corporation. "But those who love to ride motorcycles and power sport vehicles had to sacrifice quality sound or retrofit a Rockford system. We're pleased that Tanom Motors is the first company in this niche to offer one of our systems from the factory."
The Invader TC-3 reverse trike (two steering front wheels, one rear drive wheel) is state-of-the-art. Tanom Motors integrated Rockford Fosgate equipment because the company's premium sound and leading technology products met rigorous standards.
"We're proud to have an alliance with Rockford Fosgate," said Adam Canni, director of design for Tanom Motors, who collaborated on the Invader TC-3's design. "The two brands are in perfect alignment because both are committed to delivering a high performance experience using cut-edge technology. I'm excited about the opportunity to offer a premium audio system to our customers."
The Invader's reverse trike configuration features an enclosed cockpit surrounded by a fiberglass body. Inside, there are two side-by-side bucket seats and controls similar to those found in sports cars. The crowning technology is a factory installed Rockford Fosgate audio system with a 300 watt, 4 channel amplifier and four 6.5 inch Fosgate full range speakers.
Rockford Fosgate's PBR300X4 is a full-range, 4-channel amplifier designed for stereo systems in small spaces. Ideal for motorcycles and recreational vehicles, the amp features Boosted Rail Technology (BRT) in an ultra-efficient design that generates 300 watts of power. This allows the amps to deliver big, powerful sound without a big current draw and withstand the rigors of the road.
The P1653 Punch full-range speaker has a "Flex Fit" basket that allowed Tanom to adapt it to any shape speaker location. The 6.5-inch speakers have an integrated concealed crossover that eliminated the need to mount a black box.
"We worked closely with Tanom Motors to integrate one of our robust amp and speaker combinations that could deliver superior sound in a lightweight, reliable package," added Theresa Hephner, senior director of product development and marketing. "The big sound from the compact Rockford Fosgate package will give the TC-3 Invader an audio system worthy of the vehicle."
Owners of motorcycles, ATV's, ATC's and other off road vehicles that don't come standard with quality sound can find additional specs and pricing on the company's line of products, including the Punch speakers and Rockford Fosgate amplifiers at www.rockfordfosgate.com/products

Rockford Fosgate, the industry leader of high-performance car audio systems, will showcase its new Punch car audio boosted rail amplifier from Jan. 6-8, 2011, in the Palms Ballroom at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. The new Punch boosted rail amplifier line includes two products: the PBR300X4, a 300 watt 4 channel boosted rail amplifier and the PBR300X1, a 300 watt mono channel boosted rail amplifier.
“Our Punch amplifiers set the standard in the car audio amplifier industry when we introduced the first generation, and they continue to lead the market today,” said Bill Jackson, president of Rockford Corporation. “Our combination of power and packaging make them among the most popular amplifiers among audio enthusiasts. Punch Boosted Rail Topology reproduces audio perfection and delivers impressive power in a compact chassis.”
Rockford Fosgate’s improved amplifier technology achieves greater output power than previous models, by equally boosting its supply voltage and current. For example, a voltage boost of 2:1 now results in a power boost of 4:1. The smaller size and weight of the BRT amplifier ensures powerful sound that can fit in most any space.
“The Punch boosted rail amplifiers have a 42 percent smaller surface area than their predecessors,” explained David Baker, senior design engineer and electrical engineering manager for Rockford Fosgate “Overall, the amplifier is 76 percent smaller in terms of its height, width and volume, and yet it produces an amazing 300 watts of power. This is unheard of in the industry. It has the smallest mechanical packaging in the industry at roughly the size of a couple of smart phones. Our new Punch car audio boosted rail amplifier puts the ‘mobile’ in mobile sound.”
The most significant advance in Punch BRT amplifiers is the unregulated power supply. The more power the car consumes, the better the product will perform.

Rockford Fosgate, the industry leader in high-performance car audio systems, announced it will offer two new AD amplifier models in its Power series, which is best known for its commanding sound in a smaller chassis design. The two new models will be unveiled in the Palms Ballroom at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, from Jan. 6-8, 2011. The new full range Class AD amplifier models include the T600-4AD and T1000-4AD.
We believe a premium amplifier for multichannel applications has to be affordable and driven with high-performance features, noted Bill Jackson, president of Rockford Corporation. That's why we engineered the T600 and T1000 models. Each delivers similar quality as the other models in our Power series, but comes in a more affordable package. I think what we've accomplished with these two new Class AD amps proves that great design and bold engineering can also be a great value.â€
Class AD amplifiers are better for multichannel applications because they require less devices and share a common high voltage supply. The T600 and T1000 amplifiers feature Post Choke Feedback, Super High Output Switching Frequency and Soft Clipping that all help keep the sound output as clean as possible.
The T1000 constantly monitors each channel's power and dynamically adjusts the output to ensure max power is available at any impedance between 1 and 4 ohms, explained Dave Baker, senior design engineer and electrical engineer manager for Rockford Fosgate. In fact, each channel is engineered to be completely independent from the others and have its own constant power and protection circuitry. That way, true constant power can be attained by each channel independently, regardless of the impedance level. We also ensured the T1000's feedback is taken at the speaker connector, so the output filter is inside the feedback loop and only a pure, low distortion signal is sent to the speaker.
New Power series amplifier models include:
T600-4AD, 600 Watt 4 Channel Full Range Class AD Amplifier
T1000-4AD, 1000 Watt 4 Channel Full Range Class AD Amplifier
